Disneyland Resort plans to reopen Disneyland and sister theme park Disney's California Adventure on July 17, the 65th anniversary of Disneyland's opening.
Miami Beach will reopen in Phase 2 today of the reopening plan. They were supposed to open earlier this month but that was delayed because of a county-wide curfew. Broward opened their beaches the day after Memorial Day.
Back in March, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) said the COVID-19 pandemic could cost 50 million jobs globally. Just shy of three months later and the WTTC has upped its estimate: More than 197 million jobs could be lost in the global travel and tourism sector if barriers to global travel, such as blanket anti-travel advisories and quarantine measures remain in place.
Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal's Volcano Bay will open with limited attendance and safety guidelines in place. Universal's CityWalk entertainment center reopened on May 14.

Casinos officially reopen on June 4 with restrictions. Casinos can only open at 50 percent capacity and will need to limit the number of people allowed inside. The Nevada Gaming Control Board also recommends frequent hand washing by staff, cleaning and social distancing at table games and slot machines, hand sanitizer available to visitors, and training on COVID-19 safety and disinfection protocols in English and Spanish for staff.
