“This year’s edition continues to bring cutting-edge information and education sessions,” commented Rick Still, La Cita’s Managing Director.  During La Cita’s first day, September 9, presentations by industry experts on Latin America, tourism trends, market reports and industry products are open to all delegates.

La Cita de Las Americas is a boutique gathering of travel professionals built on the power of rela-tionships and dedicated to the outbound travel markets of Latin America. For the first time, this year’s La Cita will take place on the West Coast of Florida at the beautiful JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Naples, Florida, September 9-11, 2020. Industry reaction has been strong.

“Between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, over 200,000 passengers a week are arriving from Latin America … people that are landing 100 miles from our destination, looking for unique and memo-rable vacation experiences.” said Jack Wert, Executive Director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau. Wert continued, “Our area has some of the finest vacation experiences in the world and we’re excited about hosting La Cita and showing what’s made our area one of the most sought after places to go in Florida. “

Claudia Cianfero, Travel Industry Sales Manager for the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau has been spending a great deal of time in Latin America. “We’re seeing a tremendous boost in the level of interest and excitement in Florida’s West Coast, in general, and in our area specifically. La Cita’s timing is perfect and will provide our suppliers with the perfect opportunity to meet and do business with the great buyers I’ve been meeting in Latin America,” she said.
