Royal Caribbean continues to reinforce its position as one of the leading companies in the global cruise industry after securing multiple international travel awards in 2026, recognizing its innovation, family-focused offerings, and expanding vacation experiences across global markets.

With nearly 60 years of history, the cruise line was honored by leading travel and lifestyle publications including Condé Nast Traveler, PureWow, Women’s Health, The Points Guy, Newsweek, Travel Weekly, TTG China and others, confirming its leadership in the vacation cruise segment.

Brand leadership and global recognition

Among the most notable accolades, Royal Caribbean was named “Best Cruise Line” in Southern Living’s 2026 South’s Best awards, following a survey of more than 17,000 travelers.

It also earned “Best Cruise Line for Families” and “Best Cruise Line Loyalty Program” in The Points Guy Awards 2026, highlighting its multigenerational onboard experience and its Icon Class ships designed for both family entertainment and adults-only spaces.

In the 2026 Newsweek Reader’s Choice Awards, Royal Caribbean achieved top rankings across multiple ships, with Star of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, and Mariner of the Seas all recognized among the best family cruise ships.

The ship also earned a place on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Hot List, recognized among the best new cruises worldwide.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas, was featured in Women’s Health Travel Awards 2026 as a “reset-worthy cruise experience,” highlighting its exclusive beach offerings and entertainment areas.

The cruise line also received Cruise Excellence Awards for “Best Ship in the Mediterranean” (Allure of the Seas), “Best Entertainment,” and “Best Brand Recognition by Travel Agencies.”
