Bucuti & Tara Elevates Guests' Culinary Experience with Wine Training for Its Staff
At Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, the guest experience is paramount. Recently, the resort's food and beverage staff participated in a wine training session led by Chris Paulk, founder and co-owner of Epsilon C Vineyards.
Along with Craig Stansborough, Chris is dedicated to producing high-quality wines, emphasizing minimal intervention winemaking to highlight the natural characteristics of the grapes and practicing sustainable farming to preserve the environment.
During the training, the Bucuti & Tara team learned about Epsilon's new premium brand, The Epsilon Cru, which exemplifies their commitment to producing top-tier wines that showcase the best of the Mendoza region in Argentina. Known for its exceptional terroir, this region contributes to the high quality and unique characteristics of the wines.
The resort staff experienced the wine by observing its color, clarity, and viscosity, swirling the glass to release aromas and identify the scents. They savored small sips to appreciate the flavors and balance. Additionally, the wine was paired with pork chops, allowing them to observe how the flavors evolved with the food.
The training concluded with reflections on the overall experience, highlighting how the aromas, flavors, and textures complemented each other and what made this wine unique. This enriching session has enhanced the Bucuti & Tara staff's knowledge and appreciation of fine wines, ensuring an elevated experience for their guests.
Wine Spectator reminds the world that wine, especially high-quality wine, is a timeless source of comfort and a hallmark of special moments. Therefore, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is proud to have received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the Elements restaurant, underscoring their commitment to offering the best in culinary and wine experiences on the finest beaches in the Caribbean.
