IMEX 2025 in Las Vegas strengthens its global momentum in the meetings and events tourism industry
IMEX America —held annually in Las Vegas— is the leading trade show for the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Las Vegas, USA, October 8, 2025 — On its second day, IMEX America 2025 continues to demonstrate its strong appeal and dynamism. With more exhibitors, international buyers, and expanded booths, the global meetings industry reaffirms its robust health even in the face of worldwide challenges.
Demand has shown sustained growth compared to the previous edition: both the number of exhibiting companies and the total registered buyers exceed the 2024 figures. International delegations have strengthened their presence: while North America continues to drive the exhibition, regions such as Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, China, and Morocco have also expanded their spaces.
Among the most notable cases is the significant growth of certain pavilions: the St. Louis booth quadrupled in size, Kissimmee’s booth tripled, and Long Beach doubled its exhibition area. The hotel sector has also increased its prominence: Hilton is one of more than 80 hotel chains present, expanding its exhibition space by 25%.
Buyer participation continues to rise compared to the same point last year. The U.S., Canadian, Brazilian, British, and Mexican markets are leading this commercial momentum. In the educational program, IMEX maintains its commitment to providing a robust schedule: over 250 sessions across nine thematic tracks — including the new “Community Builders” and “Leadership & Culture” tracks — allow professionals to gain inspiration, contacts, and strategic tools.
Carina Bauer, CEO of the IMEX Group, expressed her enthusiasm about the event’s atmosphere: “From the positive energy of the first day, it was clear that the events community is motivated, delighted to reconnect, and ready to do business. That our sector continues to thrive —even amid economic and global challenges— says a lot about the value of live events.”
The second day continues with meetings, networking, high-level sessions, and discussions aimed at shaping the future of the industry. In the context of reports of a contraction in U.S. tourism —with estimated losses of billions of dollars— IMEX emerges as a beacon of optimism for a sector that relies on innovation, collaboration, and human connection.
