"Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness" brings the legendary heavy metal icon's dark legacy to life in an immersive Halloween Horror Nights experience debuting in Orlando and Hollywood.

Fans of heavy metal and horror will have the opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of Ozzy Osbourne in an unforgettable way as Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood unveil "Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness," an all-new original haunted house coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2026.

The terrifying experience will debut on August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, inviting guests to step aboard the legendary Crazy Train for a twisted journey inspired by more than four decades of Ozzy Osbourne's groundbreaking solo career.

A Journey Through the Prince of Darkness' World

Developed as a living horror movie, the haunted house celebrates the music, imagery and larger-than-life personality of one of rock's most influential artists.

Guests will travel through dark environments inspired by Ozzy's most iconic solo albums, including Blizzard of Ozz (1980), Diary of a Madman (1981), Bark at the Moon (1983), No More Tears (1991), Scream (2010) and Ordinary Man (2020). Each scene combines haunting visuals, immersive storytelling and Ozzy's unmistakable soundtrack to create an unforgettable Halloween experience.

Two Unique Experiences

While sharing the same overall concept, each destination offers an exclusive interpretation of Ozzy's universe.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, visitors begin their journey in Birmingham, England, where John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne grew up. The experience follows his evolution from childhood through the haunting Osbourne Asylum, inspired by Diary of a Madman, before encountering different versions of the legendary rocker, including Madman Ozzy, Werewolf Ozzy, and the iconic Prince of Darkness persona.

Meanwhile, Universal Orlando Resort transports guests through ancient ruins, dark dungeons and surreal landscapes inspired by album covers such as Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin, and Black Rain, transforming Ozzy's artistic vision into a terrifying fantasy world.

A Tribute Approved by the Osbourne Family

Sharon and Jack Osbourne praised Universal's creative team for faithfully capturing Ozzy's imagination and musical legacy.

"Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries and loved giving fans new ways to experience his music and the worlds he created," Sharon and Jack Osbourne said in a joint statement. "Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Fans will recognize many moments inspired by his music and imagination. It is a wonderful tribute to Ozzy."

John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, said Ozzy's influence extends far beyond heavy metal.

"Ozzy Osbourne not only helped define heavy metal but created a cultural phenomenon that has inspired generations of music, art and horror. This haunted house celebrates his extraordinary solo career and enduring legacy."

Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort, added that the attraction was designed with countless hidden references that longtime fans will enjoy discovering throughout the experience.

Exclusive Merchandise Available

To celebrate the launch, Universal has introduced a limited-edition merchandise collection featuring Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, including exclusive apparel and a collectible acrylic figure compatible with the Infernal Carnival display. The collection will be available beginning July 30 through shopUniversal.com and at the parks.

With this latest announcement, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the world's premier Halloween events, combining music, horror and immersive storytelling to attract visitors from around the globe.
