Discover Saint Martin will participate in Global Travel Marketplace West (GTM West) 2026, one of the leading B2B travel trade events on the U.S. West Coast, taking place from August 4 to 6, 2026.

The appointment-only event brings together leading travel advisors and international tourism suppliers for three days of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, strategic networking, educational sessions and destination showcases.

For Saint Martin, participation in GTM West represents an opportunity to strengthen the destination's presence in the U.S. travel market while building new relationships with travel advisors and industry professionals who influence travelers' destination choices.

Showcasing Saint Martin's tourism offer

During the event, the Discover Saint Martin team will present the destination's latest tourism developments and experiences, with a focus on the attributes that have positioned the island as one of the Caribbean's distinctive destinations.

The island's tourism offering combines Caribbean culture, gastronomy, beaches, authenticity and diverse travel experiences, providing visitors with an alternative to traditional resort-focused vacations.

The delegation will also use the event to share destination updates and inspire travel advisors to include Saint Martin in future itineraries for U.S. travelers.

Strengthening the travel trade network

GTM West's appointment-based format allows tourism destinations and suppliers to establish direct connections with travel advisors through scheduled individual meetings.

For Discover Saint Martin, this provides a platform to deepen existing relationships with industry partners while creating new opportunities for destination promotion and future bookings.

The participation also reflects the importance of the travel trade in Saint Martin's international tourism strategy, particularly in the U.S. market.

A Caribbean destination focused on authentic experiences

Saint Martin continues to position itself as a destination where travelers can combine beaches, gastronomy, culture and Caribbean hospitality in a compact island experience.

Its multicultural identity and culinary reputation are among the elements that differentiate the destination within the Caribbean tourism landscape.

Through its participation at GTM West 2026, Discover Saint Martin aims to continue strengthening that positioning and maintaining direct engagement with travel professionals across the U.S. market.

The event will take place August 4–6, 2026, bringing together tourism professionals for three days of business meetings, networking and destination presentations.
