Staycation 2025: Saint-Martin’s beloved local tourism campaign returns with a binational twist
This summer, residents of Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten can rediscover their island like never before. The fifth edition of the Staycation campaign was officially launched at The Forest, marking a new chapter in what has become a cherished local tradition.
Originally created during the pandemic to support the island’s tourism sector, Staycation has evolved into a symbol of community pride and economic resilience. From July 1 to September 30, 2025, the program invites locals to explore their own backyard with exclusive offers and discounts across hotels, restaurants, attractions, and shops.
This year’s edition marks a milestone: for the first time, Staycation is binational, including both the French and Dutch sides of the island. French and Dutch residents can participate and benefit from promotions offered by a broad range of establishments.
Participation is easy: just register online, download your digital Staycation card (or request a physical one from the Tourist Office), and present it along with proof of residence when making a purchase at participating businesses.
Staycation 2025 is more than a promotional campaign — it’s a celebration of local life and togetherness, transforming everyday experiences into unforgettable moments, all while supporting local businesses.
