The Growing Popularity of RV Travel with Cruise America and Cruise Canada

Cruise America and Cruise Canada held a successful event in Buenos Aires, aimed at tour operators and journalists, highlighting the advantages of their RV rental services for Latin American tourists eager to explore destinations in the U.S. and Canada. The event concluded with a celebratory toast to the anticipated success of upcoming ventures in the region, reinforcing the company's strategy to attract more Latin American travelers through flexible and personalized services.

The meeting was organized by TBM-Travel Business Marketing, a CWW affiliate for the Southern Cone, in collaboration with Ms. Diana Brandon from the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Argentina.

Cristina MacDougall, President of TBM, introduced Randall Smalley, International Marketing Director of Cruise America, and Eduardo Genekian, Managing Director of CWW Brazil. Both engaged with wholesale operators who market the product and the specialized press responsible for disseminating updates to the B2B sector and travelers alike.

During the presentation, the growing demand for this type of travel among Latin American tourists was emphasized. These travelers appreciate the flexibility and affordability offered by RV rentals, which allow them to explore multiple destinations without the need for hotels. Each RV is fully equipped with beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom, providing a comfortable and cost-effective travel experience. Models range from compact options for couples to larger vehicles accommodating up to seven people.

A key highlight of the event was that anyone over the age of 21 with a valid driver's license can drive an RV, with up to five additional drivers able to be added at no extra charge, making it easy to switch drivers during long journeys. At each destination, customers are provided with maps featuring suggested itineraries, which include safe parking locations and recommendations for enjoying nature. This allows travelers to cook, sleep, and explore scenic landscapes up close, particularly in national parks and along picturesque routes.

The event concluded with a toast to the anticipated success of this offering in the Latin American market, as Cruise America and Cruise Canada continue to adapt their services to attract more travelers from the region.
