From September 27 to 30, Buenos Aires will host the 29th edition of the Latin American International Tourism Fair (FIT 2025) at La Rural, one of the world’s top three tourism trade events. With over 1,700 exhibitors and more than 50 participating countries, FIT 2025 will showcase the best of national and international tourism, featuring cutting-edge technology, innovative spaces, and immersive experiences.

This year’s edition coincides with World Tourism Day and will welcome the newly elected UN Tourism Secretary General, Shaikha Al Nowais, underscoring the global relevance and strategic importance of the event.

“The presence of Shaikha Al Nowais, the newly elected Secretary-General of UN Tourism, at FIT 2025 is a source of pride and a recognition of the place our fair holds on the international calendar. Her participation elevates this edition and reaffirms FIT as the key meeting point for global tourism in our region. We are about to experience a unique fair, with new spaces, innovative proposals and all the tourist attractions of our country and the world,” said Andrés Deyá, president of FIT and of the Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT), the organizing entity of the fair.

Highlights include FIT Outdoor, offering adventure and nature tourism experiences; FIT Food, featuring renowned chefs and regional gastronomy; and FIT Tech, focusing on artificial intelligence and digital solutions for the sector. The fair will also host forums and conferences such as the Travel Forum Latam and FEMTUR International Meeting, bringing together debate, innovation, and business opportunities under one roof.

FIT 2025 will once again boost regional tourism trade with its Business Rounds, connecting buyers from across Latin America with leading industry players to create new business opportunities and strengthen strategic ties.
