Gloria Guevara, Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al Khateeb, revealed the challenges, objectives, and significance of this designation, enhancing the plan as a tourist destination.

  2. Royal Caribbean returns to Latin America after 10 years with cruises from Panama and Colombia

    The Rhapsody of the Seas offers two exciting itineraries from December 2023 to April 2024, departing from both Panama and Colombia. The first itinerary, 'ABC Islands from Colón,' will set sail from the port of Colón, Panama. Meanwhile, the second itinerary, 'ABC Islands from Cartagena, Colombia,' will depart from the historic Colombian city.

  3. Jamaica Wins Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Destination Resilience Award

    Jamaica was at the forefront of thought leadership at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. The island, under the stewardship of the Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, immediately created a COVID-19 Recovery Taskforce with public and private sector stakeholders. Based on the innovative initiatives from this Taskforce, Jamaica reopened its borders in June 2020 and never closed since.
