Brightline has officially announced September 22 as the much-anticipated launch date for its inaugural train service, connecting Orlando and Miami. Brightline President Patrick Goddard expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "The opening of Orlando fulfills our ultimate business model. We have witnessed incredible excitement from the business and tourism sectors, eagerly anticipating the connection between Central and South Florida."

Trains will commence operations between South Florida and Orlando International Airport on Friday, September 22. Initially scheduled for the Labor Day weekend, the first train to Orlando experienced delays due to an extensive certification process.

Brightline's Florida Service Cities
Brightline currently serves Miami, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura. The Orlando service is set to commence on September 22.

Brightline's next phase includes plans to expand its service to Tampa.

Travel Time Between South Florida and Orlando
The journey between Miami and Orlando is expected to take just over 3.5 hours, according to Brightline's website.

Brightline Ticket Pricing
Brightline offers two classes of service: Smart Fares, described as "comfortable business-class" with leather seats, power ports, and complimentary Wi-Fi; and Premium, likened to first class with complimentary snacks and beverages, priority boarding, checked bags, and access to a special lounge.

For one-way Smart fares between South Florida and Orlando, pricing starts at $79 for travelers aged 13 and up, for a limited time. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 can enjoy a starting rate of $39. Additionally, a 25% automatic discount applies to Smart Fares for groups of four or more traveling together.

Premium fares begin at $149.

Brightline stations are conveniently located, and tickets can be purchased at these stations, on the company's website, and through its dedicated mobile app.
