Visit St. Pete/Clearwater sparks strong interest from travel buyers at IPW 2023
The largest travel trade show in the US, the US Travel Association's IPW, had more than 5,000 attendees, including nearly 1,400 international travel buyers and media.
Steve Hayes, President & CEO of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, led the work team of the destination's tourism promotion office that participated in IPW 2023 in San Antonio. Together with Andrea Gabel, sales manager and José Ramírez, Representative of St. Pete/Clearwater Sales, catered to international travel buyers and the press with all the updates on what they offer.
The participation of St. Pete/Clearwater had as a prominent presence a series of hotels that are a great option when visiting and looking for accommodation in the destination.

After their appointments and the success in serving buyers and journalists, in the last minutes of the fair they celebrated and toasted happily at the prominent booth.
St. Pete/Clearwater is a beach destination that is ranked #1 in the US every year by tourism specialists.
For this reason and thinking of the domestic market, they believe that Americans do not have to leave their country to find paradisiacal beaches with white sand and crystal clear water.

Regarding the international promotion strategy, St. Pete/Clearwater seeks to reposition itself in the Latin American market with a strong action in the search for international travelers in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, for example.
