Visit Lauderdale Partners with IndyCar’s Meyer Shank Racing to Promote Florida Destination
Visit Lauderdale has been announced as the Official Tourism Partner of Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) for the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series, aiming to showcase Greater Fort Lauderdale to motorsport fans. The partnership will leverage IndyCar’s extensive audience to promote the tropical Florida destination through branding, activations, and exclusive fan experiences.
The 2025 IndyCar season kicks off with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration between Visit Lauderdale and MSR.
"Through this innovative collaboration, we’re not just showcasing Greater Fort Lauderdale; we’re accelerating the experience," said Stacy Ritter, President and CEO of Visit Lauderdale. "By merging speed, passion, and tourism, we’re connecting our tropical paradise with IndyCar fans in an unmatched setting."
As part of the deal, Visit Lauderdale branding will appear on MSR’s No. 60 and No. 66 Honda Indy cars, as well as on the team’s gear throughout the season. The partnership will also feature special events and fan activations, creating unique opportunities for engagement.
MSR Co-Owner Mike Shank welcomed the partnership, emphasizing the synergy between the IndyCar audience and Fort Lauderdale’s vibrant appeal.
