SAINT-MARTIN – Delta Air Lines has announced an expansion of its service between Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) and Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM), providing additional connectivity between the United States and one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations.

From August 10 through November 8, 2026, Delta will increase service to six nonstop flights per week, offering travelers greater flexibility and easier access to St. Maarten and Saint-Martin.

The expanded schedule is welcome news for the island’s tourism industry, which continues to benefit from strong demand from the North American market. Atlanta serves as one of Delta’s largest hubs, connecting travelers from across the United States to destinations worldwide.

Enhanced airlift remains a key driver of tourism growth for Saint-Martin. The additional flights will make it easier for visitors to experience the destination’s world-class dining, stunning beaches, luxury accommodations, shopping, and unique blend of French, Dutch, and Caribbean cultures.

Tourism officials view Delta’s decision as a strong vote of confidence in the destination’s continued popularity and growth potential. Increased accessibility supports local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators while strengthening Saint-Martin’s position in the competitive Caribbean market.

As demand for Caribbean travel continues to rise, the expansion further reinforces Saint-Martin’s appeal as a premier destination for leisure travelers seeking authentic experiences and exceptional hospitality.
