FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi officially launched its new Premier Sightseeing Cruise on June 5, offering visitors and locals a fresh way to experience the city’s famous waterways and scenic waterfront attractions.

The 90-minute narrated cruise departs from Las Olas Landing (Stop F7) and travels along Fort Lauderdale’s picturesque Intracoastal Waterway aboard one of the company’s iconic Water Taxi vessels.

Passengers can enjoy views of luxurious waterfront estates, mega yachts, historic landmarks, and some of the most recognizable sights that have earned Fort Lauderdale its nickname, the “Venice of America.”

The sightseeing cruise began operating three times daily at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., providing flexible options for travelers seeking experiences beyond the city’s renowned beaches.

“Fort Lauderdale is one of the most beautiful cities in the country when viewed from the water, and this experience allows both visitors and locals to slow down, relax, and appreciate everything that makes this city so special,” said Bill Walker, CEO of Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi.

Guests aboard the cruise enjoy live narration covering the city’s history, culture, architecture, and waterfront lifestyle, providing deeper insight into one of South Florida’s most distinctive destinations.

According to Jennifer Hoffmann, the new experience was designed to appeal both to first-time visitors and longtime residents looking to rediscover the city from a different perspective.

With the launch of the Premier Sightseeing Cruise, Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi continues to expand its tourism offerings while reinforcing the city’s reputation as one of Florida’s premier waterfront destinations.
