Royal Caribbean’s newest vacation icon, Star of the Seas, has officially arrived at its homeport in Port Canaveral, ready to set sail on August 16 for its much-anticipated inaugural season — delivering unforgettable family vacations.

Over 2,000 crew members welcomed the newest Icon Class ship, which will embark on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, including stops at Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The celebrations will continue with a spectacular naming ceremony, led by music legend Diana Ross, the ship’s official godmother.

On board, guests of all ages can create lasting memories with a lineup of adventures for everyone. The boldest entertainment at sea awaits, featuring five exclusive shows on stage, in the air, in the water, and on ice — including the instant hit Back to the Future: The Musical.

Culinary delights abound with over 40 dining and drinking venues, including the Lincoln Park Supper Club, offering an elevated multi-course experience inspired by Chicago.
