Saint-Martin, known as "The Friendly Island" of the French Caribbean, has released the detailed schedule for the sixth edition of the Festival de la Gastronomie, set to run from November 11 to 22, 2026. The event, which has become a must-attend gathering for food lovers across the Caribbean, added a series of pre-festival activities this year alongside a lineup that blends tastings, culinary competitions, food and wine pairings, and closing nights at some of the island's most iconic venues.

The festivities kick off on Sunday, November 8, with "Taste of Sunrise" at the Loterie Farm gardens, followed on Tuesday, November 10 by "One Night Only" in Grand-Case, one of Saint-Martin's most celebrated culinary districts. From that point through the festival's close, "Les Tables du Festival" invites visitors to explore restaurants across the island offering special menus for the full duration of the event.

The heart of the festival unfolds between November 13 and 15 with the Culinary Village, set up along the Marigot waterfront over two consecutive days, featuring cooking workshops open to the public. On Sunday the 15th, the traditional BBQ Competition takes over Rue de la République, one of the most popular events on the calendar each year. Those same days also bring wine and cheese pairings across various island locations, plus culinary workshops designed for students at Lycée Daniella Jeffry.

The week of November 16 to 19 is dedicated to the festival's major competitions, with restaurants, students and private chefs competing across venues from the Marigot Waterfront to Villa Les Jardins de Bellevue. Thursday the 19th features a Students Charity Dinner at Lycée Daniella Jeffry, along with a food and cocktail pairing at Anse Marcel Beach, one of Saint-Martin's most photographed spots.

The closing stretch unfolds in three acts: on Friday, November 20, the Best Tables and Mixologist Competition finals take place, followed by the Award Ceremony at Marigot Waterfront. On Saturday the 21st, Closing Night returns to the Loterie Farm gardens, and the festival wraps up on Sunday, November 22 with "Sip to Sunset," a wine-focused sunset gathering at Anse Marcel Beach that promises the perfect finale to twelve days of culinary celebration.

With coconut as this year's featured ingredient, Saint-Martin continues to cement its place as one of the Caribbean's premier food destinations, blending French culinary tradition with island flavors in an event that keeps growing year after year — and giving travelers one more compelling reason to plan a November getaway to the island.
