FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Greater Fort Lauderdale continues to shine as one of Florida’s premier culinary destinations following the release of the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Florida, which recognized five outstanding local restaurants, including Chef’s Counter at MAASS, the destination’s only MICHELIN Star restaurant.
The 2026 edition marks a milestone for the Sunshine State, as the MICHELIN Guide expanded its coverage to include the entire state of Florida for the first time. Greater Fort Lauderdale proudly retained all five of its previously honored establishments, underscoring the destination’s growing reputation among food lovers and culinary travelers.
Leading the list is Chef’s Counter at MAASS, located within the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale. Awarded one MICHELIN Star, the intimate 14-seat dining experience is led by acclaimed chef Ryan Ratino, who delivers elevated American cuisine infused with global influences through expertly crafted tasting menus and an immersive chef-led experience.
Also maintaining its distinction is Heritage, which once again earned a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand designation. Led by chef-owner Rino Cerbone, the restaurant celebrates Italian culinary traditions through handcrafted pizzas, house-made pasta and dishes inspired by both Neapolitan and Sicilian heritage.
Among the MICHELIN Recommended Restaurants is Larb Thai Asian, a family-owned establishment known for serving authentic Thai cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. Its traditional recipes and affordable prices have made it a favorite among both locals and visitors.
Another standout is Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, which retained its MICHELIN Recommended status after earning recognition shortly after opening. The restaurant combines premium steaks sourced from Florida, Texas and Australia with a sophisticated dining experience that reflects the spirit of South Florida.
Completing the list is Evelyn’s, the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant located at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale. Featuring seasonal ingredients, locally sourced seafood and chef-driven tasting experiences, Evelyn’s brings a Riviera-style atmosphere to the Fort Lauderdale beachfront dining scene.
The continued recognition of these five restaurants highlights Greater Fort Lauderdale’s evolution into a world-class culinary destination. From MICHELIN-Star fine dining and Bib Gourmand favorites to authentic international cuisine and contemporary steakhouses, the destination offers an exceptional range of experiences for visitors seeking memorable meals.
As culinary tourism continues to grow, Fort Lauderdale’s MICHELIN-recognized restaurants provide yet another reason for travelers to explore this vibrant South Florida destination.
