Kennedy Space Center Offering Drive-In Movie Experience With Launch
"Launch and a Movie" se podrá ver el próximo domingo 30 de agosto, directamente desde el estacionamiento del Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex de la NASA.
The attraction has announced “Launch and a Movie,” a “drive-in” style launch viewing experience.
The experience, which was originally scheduled for Friday, will now take place Sunday along with SpaceX's SAOCOM 1B launch.
In addition to viewing the launch from the comfort of their own vehicle, visitors will also be able to watch the short film “Hubble” afterward.
Visitors can park their vehicles at the complex’s parking lots starting at 5:30 p.m. to watch the launch, which is scheduled to lift off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 7:14 p.m. After the launch and landing of the Falcon 9 booster, “Hubble,” a short film narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, will play.
Refreshments will also be available for purchase, according to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
The “Launch and a Movie” experience costs $50 per vehicle and can be purchased at kennedyspacecenter.com.
Tickets to the experience will be valid for the next launch attempt in the event of a delay or a scrub, according to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
