La Cita de las Americas, the premier travel trade conference for US suppliers and Latin American buyers, has developed a new sales and marketing platform that some are referring to as a virtual event — without end.
Universal Orlando Resort is teasing travelers by offering a sneak peek of the food and drink options at the Dockside Inn and Suites, which opens to the public on March 17.
“This year’s edition continues to bring cutting-edge information and education sessions,” commented Rick Still, La Cita’s Managing Director. During La Cita’s first day, September 9, presentations by industry experts on Latin America, tourism trends, market reports and industry products are open to all delegates.
“With the safety of our delegates always first in mind as we closely monitored Hurricane Dorian, and then decided we were going to have an amazing event in spite of the challenges. We had no idea how amazing it was going to be,” said Rick Still

It is a boutique style event for tourism professionals, built on the importance of interpersonal relationships
La Cita hosts over 150 travel professionals from these markets to meet with U.S. tourism providers. The goal of this event is to give suppliers a platform to expose their tourism product and negotiate with Latin American travel buyers that you would not generally see at other events.
