The FAEVYT-TVA agreement shows promising results, with a notable increase in Taiwanese tourism to Argentina. However, travel agencies in Taiwan believe that to sustain this growth, it is essential to improve air connectivity by reducing layovers, and to facilitate visa extensions, especially for those who already hold a U.S. visa. These measures could significantly increase the number of visitors and further strengthen the tourism relationship between the two countries.
With over 92,000 visitors between Saturday and Sunday, the fair continues to establish itself as a key economic driver for Argentina and the region. Andrés Deyá, president of FIT, emphasized the importance of highlighting the economic weight of the tourism sector and how the fair helps to showcase it.

This year, FIT will see a 9% increase in the number of exhibitors compared to the 2019 edition, demonstrating the steady growth of the fair despite the challenges that the tourism industry has faced in recent years. Twenty-four Argentine provinces and 40 foreign countries will participate, consolidating its position as an essential meeting point for Latin American and global tourism.
