Prime Minister Modi, in an interview with the news agency PTI, reiterated India's right to host meetings on its own territory and brushed aside the objections from these neighboring countries.

In a recent interview, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India firmly dismissed objections raised by China and Pakistan over India's decision to host G20 meetings in Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, ahead of the upcoming G20 summit in New Delhi on September 9 and 10.

China, a member of the G20, and Pakistan, not part of the bloc, had raised concerns about India's choice of hosting one of the events in the disputed region of Kashmir and also disputed India's sovereignty over Arunachal Pradesh. Prime Minister Modi, in an interview with the news agency PTI, reiterated India's right to host meetings on its own territory and brushed aside the objections from these neighboring countries.
