The Saint-Martin Tourist Office (Edicor Saint-Martin) has confirmed its participation in ITB Berlin, taking place from March 3 to 5, 2026, in Berlin. Recognized as one of the most influential global travel trade fairs, ITB provides a strategic platform for the Caribbean destination to reinforce its visibility and competitiveness in the European market.

Saint-Martin will attend alongside the Sint Maarten Tourist Office and hotel partner Buildinvest S.A., showcasing a unified destination approach aimed at strengthening partnerships with European tour operators, wholesalers, airlines, and specialized media.

Located at Hall 22a/b – Stand 116, the delegation will present Saint-Martin’s latest tourism developments, hospitality investments, air connectivity updates, and curated experiences for the 2026 season. The island, uniquely shared by France and the Netherlands, continues to position itself as a distinctive, culturally rich Caribbean destination.

Representing the Saint-Martin Tourist Office will be Priscillia Wachter, Deputy Director, and Julie Lestage, Promotion Manager for France and Europe. Their mission in Berlin focuses on consolidating strategic alliances, expanding the professional network across key European markets, and reinforcing long-term commercial relationships.

A Bi-National Island with a Unique Identity

Saint-Martin stands out as the smallest island in the world shared by two nations, offering a blend of French sophistication and Dutch-Caribbean vibrancy. With 37 beaches, a renowned culinary scene often described as the “gastronomic capital of the Caribbean,” high-end marinas, boutique hotels, and luxury villas, the island appeals to European travelers seeking premium experiences, yachting, wellness, and authentic cultural immersion.

Its accessibility via Princess Juliana International Airport on the Dutch side strengthens connectivity with major European and North American hubs, reinforcing its position within the Northeastern Caribbean.

Participation in ITB Berlin aligns with Saint-Martin’s broader international marketing strategy to diversify source markets, increase average length of stay, and attract high-value tourism segments.

With this presence in Germany, Saint-Martin reaffirms its commitment to expanding its footprint in Europe and strengthening its status as one of the Caribbean’s most appealing destinations for 2026 and beyond.
