New York CityPASS® has added two major attractions, introduced a more flexible ticket format and lowered its prices, giving visitors more freedom to customize their sightseeing experience while spending less.

City Pass, Inc. announced a major update to the New York CityPASS® program, which now allows travelers to choose any five attractions from a selection of 10 leading New York experiences.

The new format gives visitors more flexibility to build their own itinerary based on their interests, whether they are looking for observation decks, museums, history, culture or some of New York City's most iconic landmarks.

The changes also include a lower ticket price. Adult admission has been reduced from $164 to $149, while child pricing has dropped from $136 to $129.

CityPASS says visitors can save up to 51% compared with purchasing individual attraction tickets.

Edge and the Whitney Museum join the lineup

The two newest additions are Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience at Hudson Yards and the Whitney Museum of American Art in Manhattan's Meatpacking District.

With the new additions, travelers can now select five attractions from the following 10 experiences:

  • Empire State Building Observation Deck
  • American Museum of Natural History
  • Top of the Rock® Observation Deck
  • 9/11 Memorial & Museum
  • Statue of Liberty Grounds and Ellis Island Official Ferry
  • Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises
  • Intrepid Museum
  • Guggenheim Museum
  • Edge Observation Deck & Immersive Experience
  • Whitney Museum of American Art

A new way to experience Edge

The addition of Edge gives CityPASS visitors access to one of New York City's most dramatic observation experiences.

Located at Hudson Yards, Edge combines indoor and outdoor spaces more than 1,100 feet above Manhattan, with panoramic views across the city and beyond.

The experience includes a glass floor, angled glass walls, Skyline Seats and 360-degree views.

Following a major indoor transformation, Edge has also expanded into a more immersive attraction, incorporating permanent installations featuring light, color, reflections and movement.

Among the new experiences are a large kaleidoscope installation, the Pulse infinity room, a rotating mirror light show and the Crystal Cave.

The Whitney adds American art and culture

For visitors interested in culture, the Whitney Museum of American Art brings one of the country's most important collections of modern and contemporary American art to the CityPASS lineup.

The museum features works by major artists including Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe and Andy Warhol, along with rotating exhibitions focused on contemporary creativity.

Its outdoor terraces overlooking the Hudson River and the High Line add another distinctive New York experience.

Nine days of flexibility

New York CityPASS tickets remain valid for nine consecutive days from the first day of use, giving travelers time to organize their visits at their own pace.

Tickets are delivered digitally and connected to the My CityPASS® app, where visitors can access tickets, make and modify reservations, check attraction information, receive directions and review entry instructions.

With two major new attractions, a fully flexible five-out-of-ten format and lower prices, the updated New York CityPASS® is designed to give travelers more control over their sightseeing plans and more value from their visit to one of the world's most visited cities.
