Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – JetBlue has unveiled a major expansion at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL), strengthening its leadership as the airport’s top carrier. Beginning in November 2025, the airline will launch nine new nonstop routes across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, while also increasing service on nine existing routes.

With these additions, JetBlue will operate up to 113 peak daily departures from Fort Lauderdale this winter—the highest of any carrier at the airport. New destinations include Cali (Colombia), Aruba, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, Liberia (Costa Rica), New Orleans, Pittsburgh, San Pedro Sula (Honduras) and St. Maarten.

The expansion underscores Fort Lauderdale’s growing role as an international hub, offering travelers more seamless connections for both business and leisure. JetBlue will also increase frequencies to Atlanta, Boston, Cancún, Hartford, Kingston, Punta Cana, San Juan, San José and Santiago, creating a network of 46 nonstop destinations from FLL.

“As the leading airline in Fort Lauderdale, we’re proud to keep raising the bar for South Florida customers,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships. “By adding new routes and expanding service to top destinations, we’re offering even more opportunities to experience JetBlue’s signature comfort and service.”

According to Mark E. Gale, FLL CEO/Director of Aviation, “this expansion provides South Floridians with more convenient and affordable options to explore these cities, whether traveling for business or leisure.”

For travel trade professionals, JetBlue’s latest move highlights Fort Lauderdale’s growing importance as a secondary U.S. airport turned international gateway, reinforcing JetBlue’s strategic positioning in South Florida’s competitive aviation market.
