A terrifying new experience is set to send chills down the spines of visitors at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights, as the company has announced the addition of a new haunted house based on the popular "A Quiet Place" film series. This year, guests will need to stifle their screams as they navigate through this post-apocalyptic nightmare, starting August 30 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 5 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The "A Quiet Place" haunted house invites fans to step into the eerie silence of the Paramount Pictures films, "A Quiet Place" and "A Quiet Place Part II." Directed by John Krasinski and praised for their suspenseful, almost silent narrative, the movies follow the Abbott family as they struggle to survive in a world where deadly creatures with hypersensitive hearing hunt anything that makes noise. Universal promises that the haunted house will recreate the same spine-tingling tension, requiring visitors to remain as quiet as possible to avoid attracting the attention of these monstrous predators.

Guests will relive some of the most heart-pounding moments from the films, including navigating the Abbott family farmhouse and entering the root cellar where Evelyn Abbott, played by Emily Blunt, gives birth while evading the creatures. As visitors wind their way through these familiar settings, the growls and snarls of the blind predators will be ever-present, serving as a constant reminder: if they hear you, they will hunt you.

Reflecting the silence that is crucial to the films, the haunted houses in both Orlando and Hollywood will feature unique sound designs, special effects, and expert performances from actors to capture the atmosphere of the movies. For the first time, Halloween Horror Nights will also incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) into the "A Quiet Place" haunted house to maintain the authenticity of the film experience.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood are already on sale. Starting September 5 and running on select nights through November 3, guests will encounter eight new haunted houses, creepy scare zones, and the iconic Terror Tram.

In Orlando, the event will boast 10 new movie-quality haunted houses, five scare zones, and a live show. Special ticket options, including the R.I.P. Tour and the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour, are available for purchase.

Universal Orlando is also offering tickets for the exclusive Premium Scream Night on August 29, providing early access to the event before its official opening on August 30. Attendees will enjoy entry to all 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and the live show with shorter wait times and access to selected attractions at Universal Studios Florida.

With its new "A Quiet Place" haunted house, Halloween Horror Nights 33 promises an unforgettable and heart-pounding experience that will leave fans trembling in silence.
