Simply put, Las Vegas knows how to entertain, celebrate, and put on a party. If there is one place on earth you want to spend Hispanic Heritage Month, it has to be Las Vegas. In fact, the month has become a lucrative market for Las Vegas, particularly with Mexicans. On top of the over 700,000 Mexicans that live and work in Las Vegas, the city normally attracts a further million who have come from Mexico to enjoy the celebrations. 2021 Hispanic Heritage Month is a Good Example

We’re still a long way off the celebrations of the 2022 Hispanic Heritage Month, but a quick look back at what Las Vegas laid out for last year’s occasion shows you why the city attracts so many tourists during that month. For 31-days, Las Vegas essentially turned Mexican. There was an exciting lineup of events, shows, and more. This included:

  • Colors of Mexican Flag Celebrated: On the 16th of September last year, both the High Roller observation wheel and Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck were illuminated in the red, white, and green colors of the Mexican flag.
  • Big Stars Put on Shows: Pitbull, Camila, Alejandro Fernandez, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, and Tiesto put on show-stopping performances at many of the biggest casinos, resorts, and arenas across Las Vegas throughout Hispanic Heritage Month.
  • Mexican Themed Occasions: Nightclubs, restaurants, and hotels across the city held special Mexico themed nights, parties, and events. Some took place on weekends, while others ran for the whole month.

Besides all of the above, visitors get to enjoy everything else that Las Vegas has to offer. That includes the numerous land-based casinos, nightclubs, bars, shows, and other forms of entertainment the city is famous for. Let's not forget the many world-class Las Vegas dining options scattered around the city.

Viva Las Vegas

There is more to Las Vegas than meets the eye. Sure, the city offers world-famous gambling options, has now issued over 5 million wedding licenses, and is the dream destination for stag parties, but as Latin Americans and particularly Mexicans have discovered, Las Vegas is also a culturally aware city that has nothing but love for its Latino friends.

So, if you’re thinking of doing something a bit different for Hispanic Heritage Month this year, Las Vegas should be right at the top of the list. No other city in the US can come close to Las Vegas in terms of the entertainment, celebrations, and extravaganzas it hosts each and every year.
