St. John’s, Antigua .- Antigua and Barbuda has reassured U.S. travelers, travel advisors, airlines, and tourism partners that travel to and from the destination remains fully operational, despite recent media reports concerning U.S. visa issuance for Antiguan and Barbudan citizens. Authorities emphasized that these reports do not affect international travel or tourism operations.

According to official statements, there have been no changes to entry or exit requirements for U.S. citizens or other international visitors. All airports and seaports across Antigua and Barbuda continue to operate normally, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted travel.

The Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment, The Honorable H. Charles Fernández, reaffirmed the destination’s openness to visitors:
