We tell you all the details about Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, Royal Caribbean’s new beach club in The Bahamas
Royal Caribbean added a new milestone to its portfolio of exclusive experiences with the official opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, its first beach club under this innovative concept. The destination officially opened its doors on December 23, welcoming its first vacationers with an all-inclusive beach day that combines the energy and natural beauty of The Bahamas with Royal Caribbean’s signature style.
The opening took place just days after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which brought together Bahamian government leaders, special guests, community members, and Royal Caribbean executives, marking the completion of a development process that began in April 2024. From now on, vacationers visiting Nassau, The Bahamas, can purchase all-inclusive day passes through Royal Caribbean’s website to access the beach club’s experiences and services.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is where exclusivity meets all-inclusive, offering a wide range of family-friendly, festive, and relaxing experiences designed to suit every mood and type of traveler. Guests can enjoy the turquoise waters of two stunning beaches and three pools, from the party atmosphere of The Floating Flamingo—the world’s largest swim-up bar—to the laid-back energy of The Deep End Pool and family time at The Shallow End Pool. Between activities, guests can refuel with unlimited bites at three beachside restaurants and 10 oceanfront bars, and immerse themselves in Bahamian culture through live music, local artisan shops, and more.
Everything needed for a perfect beach day is included, such as umbrellas and loungers, lockers and towels, Wi-Fi, and round-trip transportation aboard five colorful ferries.
“Travelers told us they were looking for more ways to make the most of their vacations in The Bahamas, and that is exactly what we created with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean. “Whether it’s a relaxing day on the island’s two beautiful beaches or a beach party featuring the world’s largest swim-up bar, we have created a destination that fits every mood. The opening of our first Royal Beach Club introduces a bold new type of beach experience, and this is only the beginning of what’s to come in our growing destination portfolio.”
At Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, families and vacationers can enjoy the ultimate beach day across three distinct zones designed for every vibe.
Family Beach invites guests of all ages to splash into the zero-entry The Shallow End Pool, relax on the beach, or enjoy friendly competition with classic beach games. Family Beach is also home to the brand-new Ultimate Family Cabana, a one-of-a-kind two-story cabana featuring a private jacuzzi, dry and wet slide, frozen drink machine, premium personal service, and more.
Chill Beach is ideal for those looking to soak up the sun, whether on the white sands or poolside at The Deep End, with a cocktail or mocktail from the swim-up bar. Guests seeking elevated relaxation can book beachfront or poolside cabanas offering enhanced amenities and dedicated attendants.
Party Cove keeps the celebration going all day long, with vacationers dancing to DJ beats and enjoying drinks at The Floating Flamingo, the world’s largest swim-up bar. For special celebrations, guests can reserve prime seating on the east or west side of The Party Deck, located on the second level of The Floating Flamingo, offering private space for up to 12 guests, dedicated food and beverage service, and stunning ocean views.
Developed through a pioneering public-private partnership with the Government of The Bahamas, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island was created with a modern and responsible approach, supporting the Bahamian workforce by creating hundreds of jobs for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and more. Bahamian influence can be seen throughout the beach club, from architectural design and live entertainment to local artisan shops and culinary offerings.
