Less than six months ago, the wait time for visa renewals was more than two years, but now, if the requirements are met, appointments are available within 30 days. In another sense, the American Embassy recalled that, as of June 17, 2023, visa fees will increase.

The United States embassy in Colombia announced that it is going to allocate more personnel and open hours so that visas can be processed more quickly and citizens can make, among other things, their tourist trips to North America.
