As part of its European expansion strategy, Saint Martin is strengthening its presence in the Italian market, positioning itself as one of the most refined and experience-driven destinations in the Caribbean.

The Saint Martin Tourist Office, led by its President Valérie Damaseau, conducted a strategic roadshow in Italy in collaboration with Atout France Italia. The initiative aimed to increase destination visibility, assess market opportunities, and build long-term partnerships with key travel industry stakeholders.

The tour included key cities such as Turin, Milan, Bari, and Lecce, where the strong potential of the Italian market for Saint Martin was clearly confirmed.

In Turin and Milan, events gathered a high level of engagement from travel agents, tour operators, and media representatives, generating valuable exchanges and strong participation. In Bari and Lecce, one-to-one meetings led to concrete business discussions and a notable level of interest in the destination.

“To Italy, Saint Martin offers more than a destination—it presents a vision built on excellence and authenticity,” said Damaseau, emphasizing the island’s competitive positioning within the Caribbean.

Tourism professional Julie Lestage captured the essence of the destination by stating, “Saint Martin is not just visited, it is felt,” highlighting its unique experiential approach that blends culture, gastronomy, nature, and lifestyle.

With a strong identity centered on emotion, refined living, and high-quality tourism experiences, Saint Martin continues to expand its international footprint, with Italy emerging as a key growth market in Europe.
