Saint-Martin Strengthens Its Presence in Canada with Participation in Montreal’s SITV 2026
The Saint-Martin Tourist Office will take part in the Salon International Tourisme Voyages from October 30 to November 1, aiming to strengthen the island’s visibility in the Canadian market and showcase its cultural, culinary and natural attractions to potential travelers.
Saint-Martin is seeking to expand its presence in the Canadian tourism market through its participation in the 2026 Salon International Tourisme Voyages (SITV), taking place from October 30 to November 1 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal in Canada. The island’s Tourist Office will use the event to present the destination directly to the public and create new opportunities to promote its tourism offering.
The SITV will hold its 36th edition, bringing together international destinations, travel agencies, tour operators and tourism industry professionals. Organizers have announced more than 350 destinations, around 200 exhibitors and a program featuring approximately 300 conferences, with activities designed to inspire travelers and help them plan their next trips.
For Saint-Martin, the event represents an opportunity to connect with Canadian travelers interested in discovering new Caribbean destinations. The island’s promotional strategy will highlight its range of experiences, from its beaches and natural landscapes to its cultural identity, gastronomy and distinctive Caribbean lifestyle.
Participation in the Montreal event will also allow the Tourist Office to engage directly with potential visitors, answer questions and provide information to help travelers plan future stays. As Caribbean destinations compete to attract international visitors, consumer-focused tourism fairs offer an important platform for increasing visibility and introducing destinations to new audiences.
Montreal: A Gateway to Caribbean Discoveries
Over three days, visitors to SITV will be able to explore destinations from around the world, receive recommendations from travel specialists and attend presentations and conferences related to tourism. The event will take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, located at 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle.
Through this participation, Saint-Martin will continue promoting its tourism offering internationally and strengthening its connection with the Canadian market. The island aims to inspire travelers to discover a destination where nature, culture, gastronomy and Caribbean hospitality come together.
