Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort at IPW 2026: A Renewed Luxury Oceanfront Experience
At the Visit Lauderdale booth during IPW 2026, Laurie Johnson presented the latest updates and services of the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, one of the most recognized oceanfront properties in South Florida.
The executive highlighted that the hotel features 432 guest rooms and more than 38,000 square feet of meeting and event space, positioning the resort as an ideal option for both leisure travelers and meetings and conventions groups.
Among the resort’s latest developments, Johnson emphasized the recent $2 million renovation of the property’s spa, as well as the culinary experience led by Lona Cocina & Tequileria, the Mexican-inspired restaurant headed by renowned chef Pablo Salas.
“As part of the Westin brand, you can eat well, sleep well, play well, and rest well,” the representative said, highlighting the wellness-focused philosophy that defines the hotel chain.
The resort also offers direct beach access, oceanfront dining service, relaxation areas, umbrellas, private cabanas, and an atmosphere designed for both relaxation and premium experiences along the Atlantic Ocean.
