Fort Lauderdale Gears Up for Another Edition of FLIBS, the World’s Largest In-Water Boat Show
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), the world’s largest in-water boat show, returns from October 29 to November 2, 2025, bringing together the global marine industry for five unforgettable days in the “Yachting Capital of the World.”
With more than 1,300 boats, seven waterfront locations, and nearly three million square feet of exhibit space, FLIBS offers an extraordinary showcase of luxury yachts, innovative marine technology, and unforgettable on-the-water experiences.
A Global Nautical Showcase
Conveniently located near Fort Lauderdale’s golden beaches, FLIBS spreads across Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Hall of Fame Marina, Superyacht Village at Pier 66 South, Pier 66 Marina, the Broward County Convention Center, and the 17th Street Yacht Basin. Visitors can move between locations via water taxi, shuttle, or golf cart, making it easy to explore the entire event.
At the Superyacht Village, attendees will have the chance to step aboard some of the most impressive superyachts in the world, meet renowned yacht builders, and discover the latest in marine innovation—from luxury tenders and water toys to exotic vehicles. Meanwhile, the Broward County Convention Center will host boat debuts, a Kids Corner, seminars, and interactive attractions designed to immerse visitors in the latest trends in boating and water sports.
Insider Tips to Make the Most of FLIBS
“Don’t try to see it all in one day,” advises Phil Purcell, CEO and President of the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, owner of the boat show. “Plan ahead, highlight the must-see exhibits, and enjoy the special events and fishing clinics.”
For those traveling from nearby cities like Miami or West Palm Beach, the Brightline train offers express service directly to Fort Lauderdale, with complimentary shuttles to the Riverside Hotel and convenient access to the Water Taxi network.
Visitors looking for an elevated experience can opt for the Windward VIP Club at Bahia Mar, which includes early entry, a premium open bar, gourmet dining, private lounges, and dedicated transportation between venues.
A Destination That Lives the Nautical Lifestyle
Fort Lauderdale’s extensive network of marinas, its 24 miles of golden beaches, and a vibrant dining and nightlife scene make it the perfect backdrop for FLIBS. After exploring the show, visitors can enjoy world-class restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard or relax at luxury waterfront hotels.
