Our visit to Green Bay was an unforgettable experience, blending sports passion with the charm of a city full of history and life.

As an Argentine and soccer fan, visiting the legendary Lambeau Field —home of the Green Bay Packers— was deeply moving. This stadium, the oldest continuously operating venue in the NFL since 1957, is truly a temple for lovers of American football and sports history. Walking across the field, stepping into the facilities, and touring the museum was like reliving the greatest moments of a one-of-a-kind franchise, with four Super Bowl titles (I, II, XXXI, and XLV) under its belt.

But the tour didn’t end at the stadium. Just steps away, we discovered Titletown, a vibrant entertainment district offering shops, restaurants, a park, ice skating rink, and year-round event spaces — perfect for families or groups of friends. The energy in the air is contagious, turning every visit into more than just a tour — it's a true celebration of community and sports spirit.

Our guided tour took us from the stands to the sacred turf where, every Sunday, the Packers make history.

We also learned about the team’s origins in 1919 —the only NFL franchise owned by its fans— and visited the stadium’s interactive museum, filled with memorabilia, trophies, helmets, photos, and unforgettable moments featuring legends like Vince Lombardi, Bart Starr, Brett Favre, and Aaron Rodgers. Every corner holds a story, a moment, and a passion that needs no translation.

Titletown, the entertainment district surrounding the stadium, is a true destination in itself. Restaurants, cafés, stores, a winter sledding hill, a skating rink, and green spaces make it a year-round experience. Everything is designed to make fans (and their families) feel at home.

This visit made me reflect on the way we live and breathe football in Argentina, and how —despite the differences— the passion for sports connects communities across the world. As I walked through Lambeau Field, I remembered that famous Abbott and Costello sketch, "Who’s on first?", and smiled, thinking that when it comes to sports, we all speak the same language.

Green Bay, from its iconic stadium to its neighborhoods and welcoming hotels, offers a unique experience I would recommend to any traveler — fan or not — who wants to feel the heart of the NFL and the vibrant culture of this American city.
