ANAHEIM, California. (August. 2024) – Disney fans were treated to an unforgettable evening of announcements and entertainment at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The event, held at the Anaheim Convention Center, was headlined by Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro, who unveiled an ambitious lineup of new projects and experiences that will redefine the magic of Disney for years to come. Expanding the Disney Cruise Line
Among the major announcements was the addition of four new vessels to Disney Cruise Line's fleet, set to debut between 2027 and 2031. This expansion will offer guests 13 unique ways to experience Disney's world-class entertainment, dining, and service on the high seas.

Monsters, Inc. Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: This will feature the first suspended coaster in a Disney park, simulating a thrilling ride through the door vault with Mike and Sulley.

Cars-Themed Area at Magic Kingdom: Frontierland will be reimagined with two new attractions, including a high-speed rally race through the wilderness beyond Radiator Springs.

Villains Land at Magic Kingdom: Dedicated to Disney's iconic villains, this land promises to deliver a fearless new vision of Disney magic with attractions, dining, and shopping experiences.

Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Guests will embark on adventures alongside Indiana Jones and explore the magical world of "Encanto" in a beautifully themed carousel.

Avatar Experience at Disney California Adventure: This new attraction will bring the action and wonder of Avatar to life in a thrilling and immersive way.

An Innovative Collaboration with Epic Games
One of the most exciting announcements was Disney's collaboration with Epic Games.
