The inaugural voyage of Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas marked a milestone in the cruise industry, with its official unveiling and a grand celebration in Port Canaveral, Florida. Meghan Trainor, the famous Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, was the godmother of this imposing Oasis-class ship, which promises to change the way we sail.

In the words of Alberto Muñoz, VP for Latin America and the Caribbean of Royal Caribbean: "This ship becomes the new attraction of Orlando, being the perfect complement for those vacationing in Florida, including families, couples, friends, or even MICE groups. The christening party was a spectacular event with more than 4,000 attendees, where Rev Run and DJ Ruckus kept the energy high with their music. Muñoz highlighted the diversity of experiences on board: "Utopia features new attractions such as two casinos; a new Caribbean tiki bar, The Pesky Parrot; and Royal Railway – Utopia Station, an immersive dining experience in a train carriage."

The Utopia of the Seas, which will begin its short itineraries of 3 and 4 nights from Port Canaveral, includes a visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay on every departure, thus offering a unique experience in short trips. Muñoz emphasized the innovation of this ship: "Utopia provides an unparalleled weekend energy for everyone, every day of the week, with many options to celebrate or simply relax."
