Located just 20 minutes northwest of the capital, Diriyah is expected to become one of the most visited destinations in the world, both in the tourism and business sectors.

The city of Diriyah, known as the capital of Saudi tourism, is gearing up to unveil over three centuries of authentic Saudi Arabian history and culture. This ambitious project will offer unique and inspiring heritage experiences, educational and cultural opportunities, world-class residential living, and an exceptional lifestyle offering including shopping, entertainment, and gastronomic experiences. Located just 20 minutes northwest of the capital, Diriyah is expected to become one of the most visited destinations in the world, both in the tourism and business sectors.

At the heart of this development lies At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an iconic adobe city, and the capital of the first Saudi state. The project encompasses the construction of 38 hotels, including renowned brands such as Four Seasons, Rosewood, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Oberoi, Six Senses, Orient Express, and Raffles. Furthermore, the historic Diriyah region will add 20,000 residences to Riyadh's housing stock by 2027.

The Diriyah project is expected not only to boost local strategic sectors but also to create partnership opportunities with the private sector. It will also open up new investment opportunities in various stages of development, including the construction, operation, and management of hotels, residences, shopping centers, entertainment facilities, and cultural venues.

Located amidst the Arabian desert on the banks of Wadi Hanifa, historic Diriyah is just 20 km northwest of Riyadh. It was here that Imam Muhammad bin Saud laid the foundation for the first Saudi state, ushering in unprecedented prosperity in the region for centuries. Diriyah's impact reverberated over hundreds of years.

The historical settlement of Diriyah dates back to the year 1446 AD when Mani' bin Rabi'a Al-Muraydi arrived from a small village near Qatif to establish himself in this fertile land along the banks of Wadi Hanifa.

Today, Diriyah is a unique and captivating destination that offers visitors the opportunity to explore Saudi Arabia's rich history and culture. With its mix of historical attractions, natural beauty, cultural offerings, and new developments, the historic city of Diriyah is a must-visit for travelers interested in discovering the country. Whether you are a history enthusiast, an outdoor activity lover, or simply seeking a relaxing and luxurious getaway, Diriyah has something to offer. Moreover, it boasts a promenade with a wide variety of restaurants to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
