There are many reasons for wanting to travel to Hawaii, one of the most appreciated destinations by tourists in the world. Faced with the idea that it is an exotic destination for Latin Americans, the actions of those in charge of promoting the destination aim to demystify that idea. "Everything is connected with nature and culture, which is the most particular thing that the Islands have. Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) has a strategic focus on sustainability and caring for the islands.

It is based on strategically managing Hawaii's tourism in a sustainable manner consistent with economic goals, cultural values, preservation of natural resources, community desires, and visitor industry needs.

"The latest thing we are implementing is a volunteer program in which we invite travelers to commit a few hours of work to improve the environment of Hawaii. We want the 5 islands to be as beautiful as they are now in the next 100 So we invite tourists to be with us and to participate in some volunteer programs in which they can participate in the cleanup that is done on the beach, they can plant a tree or they can simply visit a cultural center to learn about the Polynesian culture of the Hawaiian Islands and its history. Some of the hotels are doing special promotions and offers and even a few free nights for all travelers who commit to participating in these actions on the islands."

"In addition to the very traditional beach and a whole range of water activities, surfing is very famous. We like to say that surfing was created here, I don't really know, but let's be sure it became very popular in Hawaii. There are also many activities that you can enjoy in Hawaii that do not involve water, such as mountain activity and visiting the volcanoes in Hawaii, which are something wonderful, spectacular and something very beautiful that I invite everyone to go see them."
