Shah Rukh Khan turns 56 today, November 2. On this occasion, many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to wish him a Happy Birthday. SRK's friend, Salman Khan, took to Twitter to wish the Raees star on his birthday and called him his 'bhai'. He also shared an old photo with the actor.

Salman Khan visited Shah Rukh Khan's house after his son, Aryan Khan, got arrested in the drugs case, to show him his support. Today, on his birthday, November 2, Salman Khan shared a throwback picture with SRK and wrote, "Aaj apne bhai ka birthday hai . Happy birthday mere bhai .. @iamsrk (sic)."

On October 12, Salman Khan was spotted at Shah Rukh Khan's home with his father, Salim Khan. The actor again visited Mannat on October 13, to support his friend as Aryan Khan's bail plea was being heard in a Mumbai court.

Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965 in Delhi. He attended Delhi's St. Columba's School and did his graduation from Hansraj College. SRK started doing small acting roles in his college days and appeared in a few TV shows before making it big in Bollywood. He made his debut in the film industry with Deewana in 1992.

Shah Rukh Khan tied the knot with his girlfriend Gauri Chibber on October 25, 1991. The couple has three children- son Aryan Khan (23), daughter Suhana Khan (21) and son AbRam (8).
