The actor and comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños 'Chespirito', known internationally for his films and television shows, died on Friday at his home in Cancun, at age 85.

In this city of Quintana Roo resided in recent years due to his health.

Last May, the actor spoke about his status on social networks, he said that although his health was delicate, was "quiet" and "happy" with his family.

In 2009, after surgery his health deteriorated and developed respiratory problems, so he moved to Cancun for not using the oxygen tank needed in Mexico City.

The comedian could not walk, so it was permanently in a wheelchair.

According to Edgar Vivar, former collaborator and friend of Chespirito, the body of the actor will be moved to Mexico City, where he will be veiled.
