Jamaica is set to host the prestigious Caribbean Travel Marketplace from May 20-22 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre. This event, expected to attract 150 buyer companies and around 1000 delegates, highlights Jamaica's growing prominence in the travel industry.
The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, expressed his pride in this achievement and emphasized that each of these visitors contributes to the economic development of the country, generating employment in various areas such as agriculture, construction, and other productive sectors.
The Senior Vice President of WTTC, Virginia Messina, spoke with the press at the WTTC Summit in Kigali: "It is very interesting and impressive to observe how, despite all the global challenges we face in the world, the tourism sector is returning very rapidly," she said.
