Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married, tying the knot Friday evening at Madison Square Garden in New York City in front of roughly 1,000 guests. The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said "I do" at the celebrity-filled ceremony, capping off a relationship that began in 2023 and an engagement announced last August.

A representative for Swift confirmed the marriage in a statement, noting the ceremony was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler, described as a longtime friend of the couple. The wedding skipped a traditional bridal party altogether. Austin Swift, Taylor's brother, served as her "Man of Honor," while Travis's brother, retired NFL lineman Jason Kelce, stood in as best man. For the fashion details, the couple's looks were designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture under creative director Jonathan Anderson, marking his first couture wedding dress for a global celebrity.

The event turned midtown Manhattan into a security operation for two full days. Roughly 135 police officers were assigned around the venue on Friday alone, with streets closed off and barricades set up to hold back crowds of fans hoping for a glimpse of the arriving guests. A rehearsal dinner had been held at MSG the night before, with about 100 family members and friends in attendance.

Celebrity arrivals kept fans and photographers busy throughout the evening. Guests spotted heading into the venue included actors Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis and Ethan Hawke, soccer star Abby Wambach, broadcaster Joe Buck, musician Benson Boone, NFL wide receiver Cooper Kupp and Paulina Gretzky, daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. As the party wound down early Saturday, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, and Chris Rock were among those seen departing, alongside NFL figures like seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Outside the arena, the celebration made itself known to the whole city. A jumbotron outside Madison Square Garden lit up with the message "JUST&T MARRIED!" once news of the ceremony broke, and the Empire State Building announced it had lit up in "something blue" in the couple's honor.

The wedding brings a very public three-year romance full circle — one that first drew mainstream attention during the Chiefs' Super Bowl run in early 2024, when Swift became a fixture in the stands cheering on her now-husband. With the marriage now confirmed, months of speculation over the date, venue and details of the ceremony have finally been put to rest.
