MarketHub Americas 2026 Brings Together Global Travel Leaders in Punta Cana to Shape the Future of Tourism
PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic – HBX Group, a leading B2B travel technology marketplace, has announced the speakers and sponsors for MarketHub Americas 2026, one of the travel industry's most influential events, taking place in Punta Cana from June 23 to 26 under the theme "The MarketHub: Unlocked."
This year's edition will welcome approximately 580 participants and more than 350 strategic clients from 16 source markets, reinforcing MarketHub's role as a key platform for industry collaboration, business development, and discussions on the trends shaping the future of travel.
Sixteen years after the first MarketHub was held in Brazil, HBX Group's flagship event continues to bring together the people driving the travel industry to explore the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in an increasingly dynamic environment.
The program will focus on some of the forces transforming travel today, including economic uncertainty, artificial intelligence, evolving traveler expectations, and the growing importance of collaboration across the tourism ecosystem.
Nicolas Huss, CEO of HBX Group, will open the event by sharing his perspective on the opportunities ahead for the industry. Javier Cabrerizo, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, will discuss why travel continues to demonstrate remarkable resilience despite an increasingly uncertain global landscape.
The conference will feature a distinguished lineup of international experts. Aran Ryan, Director of Industry Studies at Oxford Economics, will examine how geopolitical and economic uncertainty is reshaping travel demand. Morgan Hines, Senior Reporter at Phocuswright, will provide insights into the technologies and innovations transforming the industry, while Olivier Ponti, Director of Intelligence and Marketing at Amadeus, will highlight data-driven growth opportunities across the Americas.
The agenda extends beyond the travel sector as well. Futurist and author John Sanei will explore how leaders and organizations can adapt to a rapidly changing world. Representatives from Accor, Travello, Queer Destinations, and Disneyland Paris will also participate, sharing perspectives on customer experience, strategic partnerships, and the evolving expectations of today's travelers.
"What makes MarketHub special is the diversity of perspectives it brings together," said David Amsellem, Chief Distribution Officer at HBX Group. "Every year, we see clients, suppliers, and partners challenge each other's thinking, uncover new opportunities, and start conversations that continue long after the event ends. In an industry evolving as quickly as ours, those connections are more valuable than ever."
MarketHub Americas 2026 is supported by Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana as Host Sponsor and by leading industry brands including Accor, Minor Hotels, Disney Destinations, Hilton, Clermont Hotel Group, Visit Panama, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and PAM Hotels as Platinum Sponsors.
According to Xabier Zabala, Chief Sourcing Officer at HBX Group, the event's continued success reflects the strength of the partnerships built over the years. "MarketHub has always been about partnerships. We are proud to have so many of our partners supporting this edition and contributing their expertise to the conversation. Their commitment reflects the strong relationships we have built together throughout the years," he said.
With a strong focus on innovation, technology, sustainability, and business growth, MarketHub Americas 2026 is set to become one of the leading forums for discussion, networking, and strategic collaboration within the global travel industry.
