CityPASS Showcased New Ways to Save and Enjoy Top North American Attractions at IPW 2026
During IPW 2026 held in Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida, ABC Mundial spoke with Meg Heinen, Director of Media Relations for CityPASS, the well-known platform that provides access to major tourist attractions across the United States and Canada with significant discounts and benefits for international travelers.
At the leading inbound tourism event in the United States, CityPASS reinforced its position as one of the preferred tools for tourists looking to save money, optimize their time, and enjoy premium experiences in iconic cities such as New York, Chicago, Orlando, San Francisco, Toronto, Seattle, and Los Angeles, among others.
During the interview with ABC Mundial, Meg Heinen highlighted that CityPASS continues adapting to new global tourism trends, especially amid the growth of major international sporting events and the strong wave of travelers expected across North America this summer.
One of the most important announcements recently shared by CityPASS is directly connected to the major international soccer tournament expected to attract millions of visitors to host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
According to the company, many fans will not only travel to attend the matches but will also extend their stays to explore the main tourist attractions in each destination.
Based on a recent study by the U.S. Travel Association, one out of every three international travelers attending the tournament plans to stay in North America for more than two weeks, with an estimated average spending of $5,000 per person — significantly higher than the average international visitor expenditure.
In this context, CityPASS is emerging as a strategic option for travelers seeking to combine sports, entertainment, and urban tourism in a more affordable and organized way.
“CityPASS helps travelers discover the best of each city while saving time and money,” Meg Heinen explained during IPW 2026.
CityPASS tickets combine admission to multiple attractions in a single purchase and can save visitors up to 50% compared to buying individual tickets, depending on the selected destination.
Additionally, one of the features highlighted by the company is the system’s flexibility: tickets remain valid for nine consecutive days from first use, allowing travelers to organize visits before, after, or between matches.
The company also continues enhancing its digital experience through the My CityPASS app, where users can access digital tickets, make reservations, and review attraction information directly from their mobile devices.
Among the recommendations for sports travelers, CityPASS suggests flexible itineraries that include aquariums, interactive museums, zoos, observation decks, and iconic landmarks located near city centers and public transportation systems.
Currently, CityPASS products are available in 17 major North American destinations, including several cities that will also host the international soccer tournament, making it easier for fans to combine multiple destinations within a single trip.
Participating cities include New York, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston, Orlando, and Philadelphia, among others.
Founded in 1997, CityPASS has become one of the most recognized urban tourism brands in North America. More than 30 million travelers have used its services over the past 28 years, supporting a platform that currently holds more than 88,000 reviews and an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars.
CityPASS’s presence at IPW 2026 reflects the growing integration between tourism, entertainment, and major international sporting events, offering travelers a more efficient and cost-effective way to explore some of North America’s most important cities.
