ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – January 15, 2025 – The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) has released its 2025 Year in Review video, showcasing a year defined by sustained tourism growth, increased airlift, major destination events, and a strategic focus on experiential and cultural tourism.

The video reinforces Antigua and Barbuda’s positioning as more than a traditional sun-and-sand destination, highlighting a diverse range of experiences including sailing, culinary tourism, Antigua Culinary Month, Antigua Carnival, Art Week, and significant tourism infrastructure developments.

According to the Tourism Authority, 2025 represented a milestone year in strengthening the destination’s global visibility while delivering authentic, experience-driven tourism that connects visitors with the islands’ culture, people, and heritage.

2025 has been a year of momentum, meaningful connections, and continued growth for our tourism industry, as we strengthened our global reach, showcased our culture, and delivered experiences that differentiate and define our twin-island paradise,” said Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.

James also extended his appreciation to tourism partners, frontline teams, destination content creators, cultural ambassadors, and local communities, emphasizing their collective contribution to shaping exceptional visitor experiences and reinforcing Antigua and Barbuda’s brand image on the global stage.
