Royal Caribbean Installs Giant Crown & Anchor Logo, Enters Final Countdown to Inaugurate Royal Beach Club Paradise Island
Nassau, Bahamas. Just over a week before its official opening, Royal Caribbean marked a new milestone in the construction of its first private beach club with the installation of a massive 43-foot-tall Crown & Anchor logo at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, a project set to redefine the Caribbean shore excursion experience.
The structure—one of the largest physical representations, if not the largest, of the cruise line’s iconic symbol—was installed on Friday, December 12, using a crane to assemble its massive components piece by piece, in a process the company itself compared to building a giant LEGO set. The emblem is strategically located on the inner side of Paradise Island, ensuring prime visibility for all cruise ships entering the Port of Nassau, whether operated by Royal Caribbean or not.
According to Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer at Royal Caribbean Group, speaking during the President’s Cruise 2025, the Crown & Anchor logo displayed on the side of Star of the Seas measures approximately 37 to 38 feet tall. This makes the new structure installed in The Bahamas between five and six feet taller than the logo on one of the world’s most impressive cruise ships.
Official opening and first guests
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will officially open on December 23, 2025, welcoming its first guests from Utopia of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas. It is the first destination within the new Royal Beach Club Collection, a line of exclusive, land-based experiences developed by Royal Caribbean.
Unlike Perfect Day at CocoCay, access to the club is not included in the cruise fare. Instead, it operates similarly to traditional shore excursions, with day passes available through the Cruise Planner or onboard excursion desks. Pricing varies depending on the type of pass, with premium options starting at approximately USD 169.99 per person, including unlimited alcoholic beverages, all-day dining, Wi-Fi, loungers, umbrellas, and other exclusive amenities.
Three neighborhoods, one seamless experience
The new Nassau beach club offers a full-day, all-inclusive experience organized into three distinct neighborhoods designed for different traveler profiles:
- Party Cove℠, featuring a lively atmosphere with DJs and a pool with a swim-up bar.
- Family Beach℠, tailored for families, with spacious areas and activities for all ages.
- Chill Beach℠, focused on relaxation, offering a calmer, oceanfront setting.
The complex also includes two white-sand beaches, multiple pools, swim-up bars, dining inspired by local flavors, and a carefully curated integration of Bahamian culture and aesthetics, reflected in both the architectural design and the culinary and artistic offerings.
A strategic Caribbean investment
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island represents a key step in Royal Caribbean’s strategy to expand its ecosystem of exclusive destinations beyond its ships, focusing on highly curated, differentiated experiences with a strong brand identity.
The company is already developing two additional beach clubs under the same concept: Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico and Royal Beach Club Santorini in Greece, further consolidating a global network of premium destinations for its guests.
With the installation of the monumental Crown & Anchor logo and the imminent opening of the complex, Royal Caribbean makes it clear that Paradise Island is poised to become a new Caribbean icon—where exclusivity, entertainment, and island spirit come together in an experience designed for just one day, but meant to be unforgettable.
