UN Tourism Assembly: The Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT) receives international recognition in Riyadh
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Argentine Chamber of Tourism (Cámara Argentina de Turismo) was a key player at the 26th General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), held in Riyadh, standing out as one of the most dynamic countries within the Affiliate Members program in the region.
Horacio Reppucci, Secretary of the CAT, participated in the 45th Plenary Session of Affiliate Members, where the institution was awarded the prize “For the Promotion and Consolidation of the Affiliate Members Program in the Americas.” This award highlights CAT’s commitment to strengthening the visibility and work of affiliate members throughout the region.
In addition, The Argentine Chamber of Tourism (Cámara Argentina de Turismo) was elected Vice President of the Board of Affiliate Members, a designation that reflects the leadership and coordination between Argentina’s public and private tourism sectors on the international stage.
During the event, strategic topics were addressed, such as the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation to promote smart and sustainable tourism, reinforcing international cooperation in the sector.
This recognition consolidates Argentina’s presence as a key player in the global tourism scene, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and the development of tourism at the international level.
