Fort Lauderdale, Florida — November 1, 2025. The 66th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS 2025), running through November 2, has once again turned Florida’s coastline into the Yachting Capital of the World. Gathering more than 1,300 vessels, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries, and a fleet worth almost US $2 billion, the event remains the largest showcase of the marine industry in the Americas.

Spanning five major venues —the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Pier Sixty-Six, Superyacht Village, and the Broward County Convention Center— FLIBS 2025 unites luxury, technology, and sustainability under one banner. This year, 158 superyachts are on display with an average age of just ten years and 76 world debuts, including 15 charter yachts.

The show’s highlight is the 60-meter luxury yacht ENTOURAGE, North America’s largest debut, freshly launched after its appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival. With a 4,500-nautical-mile range, cutting-edge technology, and high-end amenities, ENTOURAGE exemplifies the modern charter experience for cruising the Bahamas and beyond.

FLIBS 2025 also underscores a broader evolution in marine tourism: shipyards are prioritizing hybrid propulsion systems, lightweight carbon materials, and “beach club” style interiors focused on relaxation, social spaces, and wellness at sea.

Beyond the marina, the show delivers a substantial economic impact, contributing over US $1.7 billion to Florida’s economy, driving growth across hospitality, transport, and tourism services.

For international travel media such as ABC MUNDIAL, the event highlights the intersection of luxury, innovation, and experiential travel, offering insights into how yachting and charter markets connect with destinations throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. As FLIBS 2025 nears its conclusion, Fort Lauderdale once again stands as a beacon for maritime excellence and global lifestyle trends.
